Frequently Asked Questions
Do you sell gift certificates?
No, we don’t want to hold your money. We require a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of booking and the balance is due the day of the flight. We can provide a certificate to use as a gift.
What if the weather is bad the day of the planned event?
Lighter Than Air Ballooning Adventures LLC will do our best to accommodate changes due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. All events are subject to weather, we will allow one reschedule for unforeseen circumstances. Additional reschedules would require an additional deposit.
How many people can you provide rides to in a two hour time slot?
We average 15 rides per hour for tethered rides. Most rides are 2-3 passengers depending on size of passengers.
How much room do you need?
We need approximately x amount of level space free of all obstacles and powerlines.
How does the weather affect tethered rides?
As with all balloon activities the weather should be precipitation free and winds must be under 10 miles per hour. Weather can change and affect an event even after it has started.
